Will a MIRAN II card work on a CS 1000E that has been upgraded to Release 7.6?

I don't think it will as I've found a record below

Name of problem
--------------------
CS1000 - MIRAN III Software Only solution now offered. Products affected
Avaya Communication Server 1000 systems using the Integrated Recorded Announcement product (MIRAN III)

Problem description
------------------------
Avaya discontinued the CS1000 Integrated Recorded Announcement product (MIRAN III) in April 2012 due to discontinued chipset components used on the hardware. Avaya is no longer able to manufacture the hardware pack.
This information was broadcast in the NT0966DAE5 End of Sales Bulletin published April 4th 2012.

The End of sales bulletin identified other RAN and Music options including; IP Media Services, Analog trunks, and solutions from Avaya DevConnect Partners such as Interalia. IP Media Services is the recommended approach for new CS1000E systems

Avaya business partners have asked how they can secure a MIRAN III card from the used market or re-use existing spares stock to support the installed base. As the MIRAN III product is a quoted offering and includes software licenses there was no easy way to re-use secondary market hardware directly.

Resolution
Avaya has now released for sale as of EC10, kits that include the software and license portions of the MIRAN III solution. This allows partners and customers to source the base hardware themselves from the secondary used market and put together a working MIRAN III solution. This allows for replacement and expansion of MIRAN III on the CS1000M and CS1000E systems.
The base hardware pack (NTVQ01xx) was also used in high volumes on CS1000 Systems as the MC32 Media Card (also referred to as ITG-SA). As such, there is availability of material in the used market to draw from. The hardware may be either Nortel or Avaya branded.
Compatible Media card hardware packs include:
NTVQ01AA (Release 13 and up) ** NTVQ01Ax packs are 8 port (usual MIRAN)
NTVQ01AB (all Releases 01 thru 12)
NTVQ01ABE5 (all Releases 01 thru 04)
NTVQ01BA (Release 03 and up) ** NTVQ01Bx packs are 32 port (OK for MIRAN)
NTVQ01BB (all Releases 01 thru 15)
NTVQ01BBE5 (all Releases 01 thru 03)

MIRAN III product was sold kitted with the software, so you may also find MIRAN hardware in the used market that could have carton level product codes as follows:
NT0966CA (Release 04 and up)
NT0966DA (all Releases 01 thru 10)
NT0966DAE5 (all Releases 01 thru 04)
Authentic Avaya is a reliable source of certified refurbished equipment. Authentic Avaya equipment includes a one year warranty and is eligible for Avaya maintenance contracts. Authentic Avaya can be contacted at 877-972-6387
The MIRAN III software only kits now available from Avaya are:
© 2012 Avaya Inc. All Rights Reserved. Page 2
NTAG86BS - 4 port MIRAN III software only kit
NTAG86CS - 8 port MIRAN III software only kit
NTHN86BS - 4 port MIRAN III software only kit (International functional order code)

As the MIRAN Software only solution requires a software license and Keycode, it is a Enterprise Configurator (EC) quoted and configured solution and not available as direct merchandise. Configuration is in the same place as original MIRAN, under path: “Core System – Locations – Call Server -- Integrated Products”
Each Configured MIRAN III Software kit will include:
Qty Description
1 NTEZ55AAE6 MIRAN III Software on a Compact Flash Card
1 NTDK57AA Avaya Standard security device (dongle)
1 P0843071 Keycode to activate 4 or 8 ports

Customers also need to consider the number of Music and RAN broadcast connections required (Call server licenses) during the quoting process.

this may or may not help, but i have a MIRANIII working on my 7.5 system w/MAS server also. To be honest, i dont see why it wouldnt work. The MIRANII is not much different than the MIRANIII. Im using two CS1K 1010 cabinets for the Cores and IPE modules for the peripherals. My MIRAN is installed in the IPE shelves.
