Does anyone have any luck running either Avaya Manager or BCM Element Manager on a Linux distro? I have have gotten rid of windows all together except for my laptop because I cant get EM or Manager to run on any linux distributions.

Nope, you will need Windows for maintaining the IPO (and BCM)

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

i fount that the BCM software downloaded & worked fine using wine (better that the windoze laptop)

The last time I tried this with manager i could receive a cfg but not send one.

I would not use this solution to access customer equipment regardless as it might cause problems.

Both stop working when you open Windows

recommend this:

and just have an virtual XP machine for your windows apps.

I have tried mono as well but no luck yet
a virtual machine is probable the only reliable way to go (but that still needs a windoze licence :-( )
