avaya magix dialliing 911

i have a customer that has a magix and cannot dial 911. I have tried 9911, 911 both seem like they are trying to dial out but time out after a while. the frl are all set to 3 except 900 numbers which are set to 4. there service provider says they do not see the digits. they are using a pri, all channels are in pool 70. i have checked disallow list, i did find the special digits table set at 6 and set it to 3, same problem. any thoughts?

Try dialing 411 just to see what happens. The magix had a special service table that handles N11 calls. See if 411 goes through or if the same thing happens.

411 does the same, actually I believe anything N11 does.

Are you sure the PRI is pool 70? N11 goes out over pool 70 by default. It sounds to me like pool 70 is empty and the pri is pool 890 or 891. I would double check that.

The only pool with trunks is 70, they have to tables 1 and 2 they are set to exchange and 411 and 911 are in them. Do I need to remove them from here? I think I tried that yesterday and it made no difference.

Also when I dial 911 or 9911 it takes a long time to time out. The customer said it use to work. I wonder if it's a carrier problem. The customer worked with them before I arrived and told the customer they don't see any digits from
The system. There provider uses an Adtran to convert SIP to the PRI. I've seen this before and it's usually there problem. I want to make sure it's not the system but don't have a way to see what's leaving the PRI.

Try taking 911 out of table 1 and/or 2 and see if it goes through.
