AVAYA J139 STUCK ON "Starting..."

Hi,

Has anyone encountered on a AVAYA J139 being stuck on "Starting..." displayed on the phone? The admin settings can be accessed and make changes to the IP phone settings (ex. IP address, DHCP settings, SIP settings, etc.) However, upong restarting the AVAYA J139 it will just be stuck on "Starting..."

Already tried to factory reset, changing the ethernet cable, plugging it on a different port on the POE switch, setting it on static or dhcp. Non of this worked.

I also noticed that the port on the poe switch that it is plugged in is not lighting which I know is not receiving any data since it cannot be pinged.

Just a theory, but check the rj45 connector at the back of the phone. I’ve seen customers plug in the lan cable the wrong way round more than once which bends the middle pins so they no longer make contact, but the outer pins which provide the power remain connected.
