We have an IPOSE at R11 and are using remote SIP phones with 3rd party certs that is used for J179 phones and IX Workplace. The server is hosted at a datacenter on Hyper-V so that we connect to via SD-WAN. The phones are able to register over the SD-WAN to the LAN1 of the IPOSE and same for the IX Workplace when in the office since their is a local DNS entry that points the the LAN1 IP. Outside the office the FQDN resolves to the public IP and allows both the phones and IX Workplace to work. The issue i am having is that when a user sets up the IX Workplace or phone in the office the configuration stores the FQDN mapping to the LAN1 IP address for the Sip Proxy in IX Workplace and J179s so when someone tries to connect outside of the office, they need to default and reset the phone or IXW which then stores the public IP.
I thought there was a setting in the No User Source code or another way to keep the FQDN rather than the mapped IP. Does anyone have any other methods or knowledge around this?
