Hello,
is there a way to turn on/off vm pro greeting from phone button.

basically trying to get a button programed on reception phone to record and activate "not in office/emergy closed, ect" by a user which will play before auto attendent if its enable.

this is for ip office 500v2 9.1.

yes

A. You're going to have to know how to test the status of a hunt group in VM pro... use a generic action to GET the group configuration from a hunt group, and then a variable routing action to test the results (0 = OOS, 1 = In service, 2 = night service).

Route the call through this module... OOS send the call through a generic action playing your message, then to the AA, In service goes straight to the AA.

Use a button to set the HG being tested OOS (it toggles).

B. Build another module that uses an EDIT PLAYLIST action to modify the recording of your message (exact name of the wav file). Build a shortcode to access this VM module, then put another button on the phone to dial the SC.

If none of this makes sense to you, hire someone who understands it. This is reasonably simple IPO stuff.

or use a user variable in VM Pro to flag an emergency condition
then configure a button on the handset to call a VM call flow that Enables & disables this condition on demand.

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
