Morning
I've got an Avaya IP500 V2 running 8.1(65, the system has a UC module in it and using one x preferred on several mobile devices with a domain(these work fine). I've setup a separate domain and have opened port 5060 UDP & TCP for inbound/outbound traffic. I've entered the domain name in Sip registrar under the Lan1 settings. License is added and valid and I've setup the extension and user correctly. I've tried the Bria & Polycom sip client apps on a iphone 4gs and a Samsung S3 on android.
When I run a monitor trace using Sip filters, I can see the connection but I can see FORBIDDEN coming up and on the handset it timesout?

Any assistance would be great many thanks for taking the time to read this and assist.

Run STUN in System > LAN > Network Topology

I have dreamed a dream, but now that dream has gone from me.

Forbidden means wrong username and/or password usually, SSA will confirm this :)

Thankyou For your responses, But the username and password I've checked and the username and password are correct. I'm getting IT to open up the STUN port, as I know its blocked at the moment and will run that once open. Any further assistance would be great.

I very much doubt it's STUN. Untick force authorisation in the SIP extn, also the username it requires is usually the extn number not the name :)
