Avaya IP403 - Courtesy Msg / Auto Attendant and Voicemail Lite

Does VM lite have a courtesy svs function.... ie. answer all calls after 0,1,2 rings and play a msg like "thanks for calling" then while it is in the que maybe bips, a second courtesy or MOH during the cue period or is this Auto attend... It seems each manufacturer of phone systems have their own idea of what a Coutesy svs msg is and what Auto attendant is........ what is Avayas definition ? (ps. i dont mean IVR press one, two etc)
 
It's queued announcments, you access the greeting through the huntgroups mailbox :)

Recording the Hunt Group Announcement
Voicemail Lite and Voicemail Pro provide the default announcement "I'm afraid all the operators are busy but please hold and you will be transferred when somebody becomes available". This default is used for announcement 1 and announcement 2 if no specific hunt group announcement has been recorded. Embedded Voicemail does not provide any default announcement.

The maximum length for announcements is 10 minutes. New announcements can be recorded using the following methods:

· Voicemail Lite
Access the hunt group mailbox and press 3. Then press either 3 to record the 1st announcement for the hunt group or 4 to record the 2nd announcement for the hunt group.

i think these are the best related technical threads for other people who may have this question.

it seems many people are confused about the ability of Lite to perform AA but one of the above threads demos a workaround using a virtual Hunt group and the overflow function.....
