Avaya IP Softphone w/ Release 2.2

That's going back a ways. I believe that the way it used to work was you would buy IP_Softphone licenses at a certain release for whatever number you needed and the system would always have 5 extra IP_Softphone licenses which could be any version so long as it was higher than what you had purchased so you could test drive the new version. Now, One-X Communicator might report as Onex_Comm and not IP_Softphone.
I guess the only answer is give it a shot and see what happens.
