Good morning everybody. This is my issue.
On the main site Avaya IPO system phone has been installed, running R8.1+,we already have some existing extensions that are configured into the system. Another site is located to 1000 feet distance from the main site, because both sites are offer the same service,so now the Customer wants to install new Avaya IP Phone and allow users on the second site to communicate with the users on the main site through the Avaya IPO system phone installed on the main site. What is the probability of all ways to doing it . Between the two an exiting internet network are installed .
Thanks, any idea would be much appreciated !

Both sites on the same local network? If yes, you can just hook up PoE of some sort and the phones.

No ,not yet but i will talk to the IT Networking team to put these two sites on the same network. No special configuration is needed ? Only just put the ip office on on the existing network. Correct ?

Other Idea would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

If it's the same subnet, yes it will work just fine. If there's a VPN between the sites, the config will be a little different.

Alright !
Thank you for your support.
