Avaya IP Office v2 9.0.0.0 build 829 reboots randomly with Abnormal termination error <Program E&

We have multiple sites with SCN trunks between. The main unit that holds Voicemail Pro started randomly rebooting without any configuration changes. It displays abnormal termination error <Program E> addr=00000000 d =5 pc = f033dc54c f0acf45c ...
I turned on logging but couldn't find any obvious reason why it would be happening.
Did anyone have similar issue?
Please help

The first thing I'd do is update that system to something other than the GA release of 9.0.
 
You're probably right but we're on this release for over a year at least. It was working fine without any issues. It started acting up maybe couple weeks ago so I'm trying to find root cause of this issue.

Well, if you report this to Avaya the first thing they would say is to upgrade, considering there are 11 Service Packs on that release the odds are that the fix is in one of them.

Thank you for the info. We don't have active support with Avaya :( tight budget. I bought upgrade to version 9 from 8 from cdw. Can I download service pack 11 for version 9 without active support?

You can upgrade without a license, but you'll need an Avaya account to download it.

I think if you're a customer you should be able to register for one.

I bought upgrade from version 8 to 9. Can I safely upgrade to 9.1 or should I go 9.0.12?
