First time poster long time reader. I've been doing Avaya systems for many years since Nortel sold to them.
Hoping someone can help.
I have around 30 IP Office system running version 10.0 to 11.1. Of various versions in between.
They all run the same sip trunk provider and same sip trunk settings. All have LAN to local LAN to access system only.
WAN direct to router with dedicated internet.
Randomly around 1or2 months the IPO locks up.
When I say locks up we can access the router remotely and can't ping the Avaya WAN port.
We can access the Avaya via the LAN port and in system system status can't ping the router either.
If I put a managed switch in between the Avaya WAN port and router and lockup happens I can ping that from router but not from Avaya.
If I reboot router nothing changes. I have to reboot the Avaya and everything comes back fine.
I'm at a loss and need help.
Let me know any other setting you may need..
