Dear all,

i have head office where avaya ip office server running 8.1.99 . Currently i have added one more expansion unit(500v2)through Sonicwall VPN.There is no issues when i added and i can manage the new expansion unit from server console. But licenses are not synchronizing with expansion unit.In the expansion unit system status i can see the following message.

Service Alarms
--------------

Last Date Of Error Occurrences Error Description
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
> 12/12/2013 3:48:16 PM 1 IP Office Grace period expired

> 12/12/2013 3:49:16 PM 1 License Server Error: License Server Request Timeout, Invalid/Error Response

But the i can ping units both ways and i don't think ,there is any problem with network connectivity..in firewall VPN-LAN and LAN-VPN all services are permitted.

Can someone help me please..?

Something is blocking traffic.
But i have some thoughts about not having a proper connection with a proper router.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Obvious question but do you have enough Server Edition licenses?

What is SSA saying about licenses available and consumed on the primary?

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Primary server have enough licenses for the new added expansion unit.Today i connected the new expansion unit on head office (same Voice VLAN)and licenses got synchronized. So it is something in sonicwall VPN or routing.......But in VPN everything is permitted and nothing to block.I don't know !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what is blocking license....

That is up to you as we do not know the network.

turn off h323 Transformations in the sonic walls and see if that helps.

Hi,

Thanks to Kevin Wing...

I unchecked “enable H.323 Transformations “ option in SonicWALL under VoIP tab.I did the same on both the firewall. But it was giving me the same result and then I restarted both firewalls. Then everything seems to be working fine. I read in a SonicWALL documents saying that VoIP settings need a restart to get updated. It was holyday here today so I managed to do a restart..

Thanks once again for all the support...
