Hello
I'm looking forward to take this exam over the weekend.
I have about 3 months working with the IP Office. The test covers very broad range of topics for 40 questions. Bases on the syllabus it has about 30 different topics and it seems there will be 1 or 2 questions for each topic. I would like to question the difficulty of the exam or has anyone taken it before has any tips.

Thanks

btw, the topics says describe and explain, i assume some are not multiple choice questions?

They think you can learn all of IP Office in only 50 hours? What a laugh. And the costs are rediculousy high, 4100 dollars, what a waste.
Why do you think this forum is so busy? Because the Avaya courses are useless.
You'd better spend the money on a demo kit and learn for your self on the go, and if you have a problem with something then do as the most here do: ask here.
Then after a year working experience do the exam, you'll pas without fail.

Last time I took it it was multiple choice, proctored exam. Some of the questions didn't seem to make sense, and had screen shots from a few versions behind. I would search for practice exam questions online, would give you at least some example questions.

Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.*
*(Disclaimer for all advise given)--'Version Dependent'

Questions like these:
Which three applications are included with the IP Office admin suite? (Choose three.)
[ul]
[li]System Monitor[/li]
[li]IP Office manager[/li]
[li]System Status[/li]
[li]IP Office Platform Manager[/li]
[li]System Manager[/li]
[/ul]

Now that is mandatory information needed when installing a IP Office....

All multiple choice.

Know your ports and protocols for One X and IP Office.

Can voicemail pro run on the same external (not uc module) server as One X?

You may (will) see questions like:
What two types of telephones can a centralised user have?
What two types of account code are supported on an outgoing call?
What two actions should be recommended in a thunderstorm prone area?
When traffic is passed through Session Border Controller for remote workers, the type of traffic for flare iPad users can be media and which other?
Which two protocols are used to transfer upgrade files to Avaya Telephones?

Oh, and the last five questions, never accept the bribe or pay the gratuity.

It doesn't get much worse.
