Hi,

Can someone tell me were I can find a 4.0 bin for an Avaya 401 soe? 4.1 and 4.2 are already on the Avaya site.

The 4.0 has a lot of bugs, better upgrade to 4.2.11 or 4.2.14

The problem with Post 4.0 is that is doesn't allow me to do a centrex flash using a short code.

Create a button on the phones.

Action: Advanced -> Miscellaneous -> Flash Hook

It will work on 4.0+ so it will work on the versions i recommended.

from the docs.

Flash Hook

Sends a hook flash signal to the currently connected line if that line is an analog line. For IP Office 4.0+ this can be used for a Centrex Transfer for calls on lines from a Centrex service provider.

• IP Office Software Level: 1.4+.

• Action: Advanced -> Miscellaneous -> Flash Hook.

• Action Data: Optional.
Normally this field is left blank. For IP Office 4.0+ it can contain the destination number for a Centrex Transfer for external calls on a line from a Centrex service provider.

• Default Label: Flash.

• Toggles: .

• Status Indication: .

• User Admin: .

• Phone Support
Note that support for particular phone models is also dependant on the IP Office software level.

• Analog:

• 1600 Series: *

• 20 Series:

• 2400 Series:
• 3600 Series:

• 3700 Series:

• 3810:
• 4400 Series:

• 5400 Series:

• 4600 Series: *
• 5600 Series: *

• 6400 Series:
