Hi All ,
I am new to the Tek Tips site. I would appreciate any help I can get regarding my question.
Can you use a pre recorded message via a WAV file, for the queued announcements? I know you can upload a file for your music on hold. What about the announcements you record using the short codes *91N# and *92N# can a WAV be used for these messages?

The WAV files cannot be uploaded to the IPO directly, they must first be converted to c11 files using the LVM Greeting Utility. Manager - File - Advanced - LVM Greeting Utility.

keep in mind also that depending on the length of the announcement, it may make voice mail ports unavailable. Meaning, if you only have a 2 port embedded mail, and two people are hearing announcements, then the voicemail is unavailable to others until the announcement clears.
