ACA - IP Telephony
CCNA - Passed at last

Is it set to NT mode? I have not jused them just quickly read aboit it, but there isn't much to do with a BRI card they are pretty much plug and play :)

long time no see!

I assume you've got this?

gateway set to P-P?
TEI set to 0?

Have you considered that you *might* need a (ISDN) crossover lead?

Take Care

Matt
I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

I think these gatways like this need to be connected to the PSTN to recieve clock and pass it through, is it connected to your service provider as well as the IPO?

Check the cables, they need to be "ISDN crossed"

No physical connection (LED off)
- check that NT is connected to TE and TE is connected to NT
- check whether a crossover is needed
- check exact cabling pinouts
3 Rx+ connects to TX+ 3
4 Rx- connects to TX- 4
5 Tx+ connects to Rx+ 5
6 Tx- connects to Rx- 6
