Avaya IP Office and Contact Store

Hi ...

I have Installed the contactStore on Windows Server 2008 R2, the IP Office Release is 8.1, and the License installed in the Manager is :
R8+ Preferred Edition (VM Pro)
VMPro Recordings Administrators

In the Search and Replay Page, when Click the radio button to playing a Call, the Audio waveform not display.
I try Internet Explorer (IE8) and Firefox with the same result.

Any advice to resolve this Issue ???
 
Firefox will never work as the player is an active x application. Make sure IE is not in that protected mode.

Do you just get an empty box where the player controls would be? I had a lot of issues with anything over IE7. Make sure you install the file replace patch version 3 for contact store.. This fixed my issues with the ActiveX control working in newer versions of IE.
 
Are you running CS7.8?

Is this the correct way to disable the protect mode in IE8:

" To disable protected mode please click on “Start” button, click on “Run” (otherwise simply press “R” key and the key which has Microsoft’s Logo on it simultaneously), type “inetcpl.cpl”, press “enter” on your keyboard or click on “OK”, under “Security” tab, uptick the box that reads “Enable Protected Mode (requires restarting Internet Explorer)”, restart internet explorer."

You should be able to download it from the Avaya support site and just run the installer and it replaces 2 files in contact store. Wouldn't hurt to do a reboot of the server afterwards.

Thanks jhall123, its working now, but there are another problem that there is a gab about one hours in time calculating by contactstore, if the call made in 3:00 PM, it will receive in 4:00 PM in the contactstore.
the time in the IP Office and the Contactstore Server is correct.
any suggest to solve this Issue.
 
It does not record in real time. If the call is a half hour, it will take a half hour+ to get into the database.

Hi AACon,

the calls receipt in the real time in the storage folder, but in the search and replay page appears after one hour.
