We have an IPO with 8.1 software and we are using T7316 sets. I have one user who keeps having issues with the ringing on the set. It will work correctly for awhile and then the user will have to reboot the phone. After rebooting the phone it will ring for a day or two and then it will just stop ringing... Has anyone else ran into this issue??

What happens when you call the phone?
does it behave like DND or it just rings and the phone doesn't show anything as well as won't ring?
did you overwrite the default buttons and put the shortcode in the user or a profile?

Sorry have to ask to get more info on it.

Give a tech a solution and he will be back tomorrow to ask you the next question, teach a tech how to read the manual and he will be able to solve the problems for a life time.

Are they T7316E or just T7316 (no speaker button). I just did an install 8.163 with all T7316E except two T7316. The T7316 gave me a hard time, and the system think they are M7310. I ended up replacing both of them with T7316E.

The software is 8.1(43) This phone is connected to a tcm module there is no expansion on this IPO.
Its the strangest thing I've seen.. The phone will work correctly for awhile and all of a sudden it will just stop ringing if called. It doesn't seem to matter if its internal or external it acts the same. The display doesn't change there is no DND triggered on the phone. If you do the feature *6 and set the ring type the phone will then ring correctly for awhile before stopping. No rhyme or reason... Its the only phone out of the 20 or so phones on the system thats having the issue. Thinking its possible a bad port on the TCM card I have replaced the phone already..

I had that happen once, but it was with a 7310. I read somewhere (probably here) to delete the user and rebuild it. I did that and the problem went away.
