Avaya IP Office 7.0 Essential Embedded Voicemail Question

Is it true that once a new message has been listened to (with embedded voicemail) and is not saved, it will be marked as old and will be deleted after 24 hours?

So if I get distracted on a Friday and don't save my message, it's gone on Monday?

Yes, thats correct. When I train users on it I tell them get in the habit of either saving the message or deleting it, but get in the habit of doing something with it otherwise it will be gone.

Could always turn on Voice mail to email this gives you a backup
