I am trying to find a way to bridge an Analog ext. which is assigned to an Analog Polycom Teleconf. Unit onto an Avaya 1416 Digital Phone. I know that on a legacy Definity ProLogix G3i, you would use abridged-app to add an appearance of an Analog ext. to a Digital Phine. However, in the Avaya IPO, there is no choice for "abridged-appearance" under User" - "Button Programming". Does anyone know if there a way to accomplish this bridging? The application is that the customer wants to generate a multi participant conference call on his Avaya 1416. Once he has all parties on the call, he simply wants to pick up the call from the Polycom unit. He knows he can transfer the call from his digital phone ext., but would rather be able to simply pick up the call on the Polycom, then hang up his digital phone set. Thanks, Chris

Just give him a "User" key and turn on one touch transfer, it's a single button press, nobody is that busy and/or lazy they can't manage that :)

That's a good idea and I will implement your suggestion. Therefore, given your response, I guess that I am correct in my research that there is no way of bridging a Call Appearance" of an "Analog" ext. as a "Bridged Appearance" button of a "Digital" phone extn. in an Avaya IP Office 500 v2 System.

I added the "User" feture button with the an Action Data of X-308 which is the ext. assigned to the customer's Analog Polycom. I assume that when you say to "enable one touch transfer", I add "Enable_OTT" as a "Source Sumber" in his main digital X-307 settings. When I implement / merge this new "User" button as a feature button on the customer's BM32, please confirm that he can then generate a multi-participant conference call via his 1416 phone, then once all parties are on, he would then simply press this newly created "User" button for X-308 (the ext. assigned to his Analog Polycom unit). The conference call would the be transferred to his Polycom Unit. Am I correct? Please confirm. Thank you.
