Hello Guys!

I am working on a project where my client has a Avaya IP Office 500 V2 8.0 (44) up and running with few extensions connected to an ISDN circuit.

We would like to deploy 22 remote extensions using Avaya H229 handset.

The ideia is to have the each remote extensions connected to the WAN at 22 remote locations. Is this achievable? Can the handset itself deal with VPN itself?

I am assuming a SIP trunk would be required in order to allow communication between Avaya IP Office and the remote extensions?

Any comments would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Hi
Avaya H2nn supports Entrprice Funct. 802.af power over Ethernet, VLAN ,DSCP and VPN.
And Network support basic NAT and NAPT, PPPoE for
xDSL, support DHCP client on WAN, support DNS
relay, SNTP client, firewall
Maybe biggest challenge is the network
