Can anyone provide instructions on how to setup IP Agent using telecommute mode rather than road warrior mode? I am able to get the road warrior working just fine, however I would like to use the telecommute mode with either a cell phone number or a standard pots line (analog). I'm using version 7 and can't seem to get the dialing outbound to work correctly. Any idea as to what I'm doing wrong? You can either reply on here or at "gadawg13@gmail.com" Thanks in advance!

In the 'Telephone At' field you have to include the phone number as if you were sitting in the office. That would include the ARS access code (9), and 1 (if required) and the area code (if required), plus the 7-digit phone number; i.e. 9-1-201-555-1212.

If you put a trace up on the station and try to originate a call you can see the PBX dial the 'telephone at' number first, thean the number that you are calling.

If by chance the users happens to be using agent id's as there DID extension than when using IPAgent the physical phone that the user logs into must have COR permission for outcalling or else Telecommter option will not work. most 'call centers' will restrict the physical extension COR but not the agent id.
