I have a PRI for trunks, and the sales guys ( 15 of them who have their own DID ) wants this:
If I'm on my phone, and I get a 2nd call on my DID, I want to have that call go to my personal queue and say
" Please hold or press X to go my Vmail"
Is this possible ?
Plan on using essential addition with embedded voice mail.
are we limited to how many hunt groups we can have, and can we do the pressX to get out of the group and transfer to box ?
I have 15 phones I need to duplicate this to.
These sales guys get a lot of calls all day long to each DID phone.
HELP !

You'll need pro for this.

You might need a pro for it, but at least you need VM Pro.

If it's only 15 people who need it it could be done in Essential but that would be way to messy.

I don't think this could be done without VM Pro. Easy with it, no idea how without.

Here goes, a colleague did it on Essential.

Basically you build on AA for each user. (you can only have a total of 40 AAs in the system)
One huntgroup for each user for personal queuing.
Fallback destination for each user set to personal huntgroup.
Press X in AA transfers to shortcode that routes to users VM.
Timeout should follow fallback destination.
Forward Busy/NA on user to personal AA.

But I would recommend VM Pro.

even if you can do it with embedded it seems like a ton of programming to do this, must easier with vm pro

That's just dirty!!! ;-)

yikes... kudos for the out-of-the-box thinking on how to get this to work on embedded. A star for recommending VM Pro instead :)
