Does anyone use this? We are getting ready to put in an Avaya S8720, with an IR, and I'm getting conflicting information from vendors as to how many ports I need to purachse on the IR. We are going to use it to get an accurate estimated wait time for a numerous queues. We can take any where from 8,000 to 10,000 calls a day.

Anyone have suggestions? Thoughts? Comments?

You need more info:

8K-10K calls/day

How long is the day? What is the peak volume/hour? Avg Queuing frequency? Avg Queuing duration? How long do you want callers to wait? How long is the announcement? How long is the setup time twixt queue and AIR?

Once you have these numbers you can do a traffic study. Google "erlang software traffic study" and you will find sites that offer either software or applets. Then using your info you can see the number of ports needed to meet your requirements.
