Avaya INDeX question

There is no INDeX forum so I'll try my luck on this one.
Have a field engineer who's called to ask if anyone knows how to connect an Avaya/Lucent INDeX to a Telia GSM box? Apparently the GSM box is similar to a Premicell.

I have connected up a GSM gateway onto an Index, in pretty much the same way as a Premicell.

It uses 2 ISDN channels, trunk interface, connecting through RJ45 to the premicell, and the Trunk numbers in a line group (eg 91) with 907 (or what ever your routing over it) set to go to that group.

The GSM gateway I used had no end of hassles. Biggest issue was that the box needs to have a power source for the trunks, as well as it's own power source. Once they were all connected, it was fine.

There is a lot more to them than just a premicell, so verify the settings with their tech support if you have any problems.
