I have inherited an Index 9.2.1 and thought I had mastered it over the weekend. unfortunately I am not as much of a Guru as I first thought.

All of the users have inbound pilot numbers falling back to their user extension via a call control plan(6125 to 25 to ext 215) which is fine, they have their own CLI number set up user the extended functions on the user menu and this works well. I cannot for the life of me figure out why they cannot transfer a call (from 215 to 216) it just says user not logged on. I have logged the user on though, any ideas?

have you checked the internal directory to see if there is a rogue number in there like 21 which is making it throw a wobbly? If not i would run a real time message trace from the maintenance menu and see what the system is doing.
Hope this is of some use.

thanks a lot. checked the internal and I have rogue users 1, 2 and 6 (with 5 as a pilot). how do I delete these entries? I am assuming I set these up in the directory by mistake

just found it, directory, general, deallocate.......
