Hello all,

I am a bit of an IC NooB so any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I have and continue to dig through the documentation but thought I better try here as well in parallel.

I am configuring Avaya IC 6.1 (to integrate to a G650/8500)and have all my core servers installed and 'up' I am trying to configure the ACD name parameter under Telephony, under the Configuation tab of IC Manager however when I right click as I am supposed to be able to I get no menu, where I would choose new and configure the ACD Name parameter...

Any thoughts anyone?

Cheers all!

In the main ICManager screen (not the TS server editor), you need to go to the Configuration tab and add a new ACD name under the Telephony section in the tree.

Hello tweissin,

I am trying to do exaclty that however when I right click I don't get the menu, so I can't add the ACD name, it's as if it is broken or I have missed something that would 'unlock' this if you will..

Thank you very much for any help.

Umm I found it, I had to use the button with the completely non-intuitive arrow on it.

I keep forgetting in the telephone world everything is designed to be awkward.

Thank you again, cheers.

I just about fell off my chair laughing at that one!

I am using the Avaya Interaction Centre as well, and feel your pain!

And pain it is! ;)

I am at the point where I wan't to turn up my Telephony Server however when I do, I get the error "exit code 128: Error, Server terminated abnormally:: TS" in the Alarm Monitor box and a pop up that reads "Unable to start server TS_Voice1 on 192.168.1.144@9,033. Server not available."

I assume I am missing some sort of dependency, a server service maybe?....

The servers I have UP and running in the default domain are:
ADU
Alarm
Blender
DUStore
DataServer
Directory
EDU
HTTPConnector
License
ORB
Report
Workflow
TS

I have also (Becuase I don't fully undertand the use for the domains in simply getting the T-Server talking with the switch) created these servers in the Voice 1 domain:
EDU
ADU
TS

I also have the a DUStore and Notification server in the Email domain.

Any thoughts or advice?

Thank you in advance for any responses.

Sorry Jason,

We have been trying for literally a year and half to get the bugs worked out of our existing system, and I haven't to configure a new TS.

Hopefully tweissin can help!
Barry

i guess you're missing cti client software on that machine. ic uses cvlan integration, so you have to install cvlan client first, then add telephony server.

dwalin,

Actually that makes perfect sense to me, I did install the CVlan software on another machine to test the heartbeat with the MAPD card. I just didn't put 2 and 2 together, cheers.

Thank you very much!
