Here is the scenerio: Asterisk voice mail coming from an Avaya s8700, via qsig hunt group over T1 trunk. What I am stuck on is getting Asterisk to recognize the extension dialed. What I currently get is the caller's extension, the qsig voice mail number dialed by the hunt group (using AAR), but not the extension that was actually dialed and went to coverage, which would determine where to send the call to (whose voice mail in Asterisk). So for example:
Extension 1009 calls 2790, who doesnt answer so the call goes to cover.
Coverage path goes to Hunt 253 which has a qsig message center to 8500.
8500 goes through UDP to AAR and over a route pattern to the Asterisk trunk.
What I see in Asterisk is this:
Accepting call from '1009' to '8500' on channel 0/4, span 1
Then it goes to voice mail but for 1009 (calling station). It looks like it never sees 2790, or whichever extension called, any idea how I can pass this information to it? Nothing ever shows up on a trace of the TAC unfortunately.
Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
