Hi All,
I have a small issue and I was after some help / guidance.
In our environment we are running a 5.2 Central ACM with around 50 remote sites using LSP Gateways. When we started our delpoyment we were using the 4602 & 4610 Handsets, and so we deployed a central server running MV-IPTel for the Firmware files and for backing up the phones info (speed dials etc).
As time has gone by we have upgraded the ACM to 5.2 (from it's original 5.1) and now we are using a mixture of handset models: 4602, 4610, 4621, 4625, 1608i, 1611, 9608, 9620, 9630. Most of which are running the default level of firmware because we didn't have the HTTP Part of MV-IPTel running properly.
I have now setup a new Virtual Server, and want to move all my sites to this server regardless of the handset model or firmware required, but I'm not sure of the best way to achieve this. As the phones have different upgrade.scr files do I have to have directory's for each handset and make ammendments in the DHCP Scope for the directory, or can I just ammend the .scr file and 46xxsettings.txt file to work for all the various handset models and firmware models?
Any help / advise / pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Dave
