Don't know if any of you have had anyy experiences with these handsets at all. All in all a pretty good phone offering Cli Etc.

However I have a strange issue in regards to message waiting! VM's to a specific EXT works fine. But we are not getting HUNT group MW lights. Would their be any reason for this?

We have dialled in to check SOURCE codes for the group are their and this is ok.

Any experinces on this please discuss!!

What exactly have you entered into source codes for the Hunt group?

Leemondcomm: I'm quite interested in this; we've had a few problems with these handsets (however we're using the Interquartz variant, not the Avaya branded ones).

Firstly we were getting "Line Error" appearing; this was cured by switching the CLI setting on the Extension tab from ON to FSKA.

We are having issues with having to repeatedly press the RECALL button to be able to hold a call; does this effect your customer too?

Anyway, down to your problem: We've also noticed that the VM light from huntgroup calls doesn't work properly either. From testing, I've discovered that the VM Light does come on when a HG call goes to VM, the light DOES illuminate; however when another call rings at the extension, the VM light goes out.

Basically, you get alerted to a VM HG message as long as you don't get any other calls to your extension.

Out of interest, what do you have the voicemail light setting switch on the underside of the phone set to?

What version of S/W are you running on the IP Office and the POT Modules?

The recall problem needed a roll back to V2.1(24) for the POT modules. Thats presuming you are working on V2.1(27)

IPmonkey I'll speak to our maintainer next week with regards to rolling back the POTs modules to 2.1.24; however there may be some resistance against this, as they have a case open with Avaya with regards to a (completely unreleated) issue; however they MAY feel that Avaya would not look into the other issues if the unit isn't running all the same versions.

Its a pain, we have been told in past to upgrade then downgrade S/W then to top that re-write the config.
Not noticed weather the MW lamp for groups only lights until handset is picked up will have a play with that one.
