Avaya extn / Nortel extn ring patterns different

On a system I just installed, I have noticed the ring patterns for internal and external calls are different. The 1416 sets ring two short for an external call, and one long for an internal. The T7316s do the reverse, so I have two people at adjacent desks with different rings when a hunt group call comes in. Can this be altered so they match?
