Hi i have one user that cant dial out on her phone, i have done the following

recreated her user and her extension - didnt work
logged in as someone else on her phone - this worked fine

The user can receive incoming calls from external/internal fine and can dial internal just cant dial out an external number. we dont have to press a number to dial out we can just dial the number

i believe it must be something under her user/extension, other than go through every single tab, is there anything someone on here can suggest please?

thank you in advanced

If you have SIP trunks you usually need to put a CLI in the SIP tab.

Would been easier to tell if you had a trace of it failing tho.

I have just found out it was the SIP tab under the user. instead of it using an incoming route number it was just sent to the users extension. as soon as i changed that to an incoming route number it worked

Obvious to check is "User | Telephony | Supervisor Settings | Outgoing Call Bar". (And same in User Rights if a user rights template has been applied to the user). But as you said, you recreated the user and that setting isn't on by default.

You didn't say what type of phone (could be very important). Some providers do not like the withhold CLI option being used by the phones, and that setting is held by the phone, not the user. In the phone menus look under "Feratures | Call Settings | Withhold Number" and switch it off.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
