We have few sites with IP Offices and Avaya 4548GT-PWR HW12 PoE switches. The equipment is connected to various battery backup units.
Whenever the power goes down, all IP phones and access points restart, and when power comes back, they restart again. Based on some research, we found that there is a firmware glitch in HW12 hardware version of these units.
To fix this strange behavior, Avaya released correction patch 4500_PoE_400b15.img.
Avaya removed all ERS related materials from Support Site, and Extreme Networks is redirecting us to Avaya.
Does anyone have an access to this patch?
Your help would be greatly appreciated!
