Would like to route calls to the IS Help Desk number when an individual calls a tech directly. For instance, if a person dials directly to ext 4465 and I do not pick up the phone after a number of rings a voice message then comes on stating, "The tech you are trying to reach is unavailable at this time. To leave a message, please stay on the line. If you would like to be connected to the next available tech, please press 1." The call would then be routed to the IS Help Desk number. This will allow those that call directly to be able to leave a message and those who are just looking for help to be routed to the IS Help Desk. Avaya phone system.

You can set this up as a covering extension in you voice mail. It would the greeting and press "0" to be sent to the next available agent. Have the covering extension as the hunt group number.

In Intuity it is on the first page of the subscriber form.
