Have a new Avaya R720 CMS R17 server that we have had on the shelf for a few years
Had it preloaded with Solaris and Avaya CMS R17 SW ....
Powered it up today int he lab and battery was too low so it had to charge all day ... finally when it was rebooted it came up with a screen request to accept Y/N the foreign configuration it found on the drive array?
I forget - would Dell and the LSI PERC raid controller think that the existing raid array (which holds the loaded CMS SW) - be the foreign configuration it found?
Screen message shows....
FOREIGN CONFIG FOUND ON ADPATER...
Press any key to continue OR "C" to load the config utility OR "F" to load the Foreign Configuration.
Just can't afford to pick the worng option and lose the preloaded CMS SW.
