Avaya Definity Paging is missing in Action.

I have a strange problem. I inherited a Definity system a while ago, and I guess always took for granted that the Paging system just worked. So it came up today, that it stopped working. Ok.
Checked the basics: Display “Paging Loudpeaker”… No Configuration.
Checked with the reception about the code. She says she used code 30. Nothing is Feature Access Codes under code 30.
Checked the Hardware, wire is ported to a TN763 card, which when you do a Status on the Port, it shows: Equipment: Paging.
When I review the Dial Plan, it shows DAC.
If it’s not under a trunk, features, or Paging, where would this code be?
 
Put a trace on your station and dial the code. Do you get intercept?

Sounds like you have an early g3v11 software load with a bug.

add paging port, then go back to display it and it's gone, but it works.

This was a bug on 60.4, 60.5, and another bug on 110.4

You need a corruption engineer or a patch to fix the issue.
Or you could upgrade to a newer g3v11

The issue being, once administerd, you cannot readminister or remove.

A great teacher, does not provide answers, but methods to teach others "How and where to find the answers"
