Hello,

I have two hunt groups in my office HUNT GROUP 55, and HUNT GROUP 50. I am trying to configure hunt group 55 to rollover to hunt group 50, when all the attendants are unavailable in hunt group 55. Currently all I get is a RING NO ANSWER when all the attendants in GRP 55 are unavailable. If an attendant in GRP 55 is available the call will HUNT to that person. What option/setting should I be looking into. Please help. If you need any screen prints let me know. Thanks.

Have you tried setting it up in coverage path? Set the first end point as h55 and the second as h50.

I currently have this set up in coverage path 5 (Which hunt grp 55 is in). All I get when I call extensions within the hunt group is a RING NO ANSWER. Then if one of the extensions becomes available, then call will then ring at that phone.

Coverage Path Number: 5
Next Path Number: 14 (Which hunt grp 50 is in)
Hunt after coverage: y
Linkage: 15

-Coverage Criteria-

Station/Group Status Inside Call Outside Call
Active? Y Y
Busy? Y Y
Don't Answer? N N
All? N N
DND/SAC/Goto Cover? Y Y

-Coverage Points-

Terminate to Coverage Pts. with bridged appearances? N

Point 1: h55 Point 2: h50 Point 3:_____
Point 4: _____ Point 5: ______ Point 6:_____

Do you have a queue on the group you are trying to cover to? If so, try to lower or eliminate the queue length to see if that helps. Put the threshold at the same number as the agent total to see what that does for you. Also, if the second hunt group is non-acd, be sure you don't have your users on cover of some sort....

This is a possibility, Set ACD=Y on page 1 of your hunt form, then fill out RONA on Page 2 and redirect to a vdn after x rings. The vdn would be tied to a vector control hunt group. I played around with this the other day and it worked for me but I never put it into production because I decided on an easier way of implementing it. Hope this helps.
