Avaya Contact Center Elite Upgrade Question ?

Hi all

We have customer running CM Release 3.1 with CC Elite, and we want to upgrade the hole solution to the latest version 6.2, Now I have two questions:

1) Where the current CC Elite is installed ? it is a Software installed on seperate server or only license activated on the CM Software?

2) If we proceed the upgrade we need only to upgrade CM Software with migrating of licences (including CC Elite) ?


Please I have some confusion with CC Elite and I need brief explanations if possible...

CC Elite depends if you just have agent licences that are local to your CM , or if you have a CMS server to provide all the reporting functions , either way on an upgrade all licences will be transferable , regarding your core CM if you are on CM 3.1 you are going to have to upgrade your hardware to a server that meets the specifications to run system platform and the cm template ,you also have the option of virtualizing your CM on VM ware the latest build for that is indeed 6.2 if you don't go VM ware CM is now at 6.3 so bear that in mind.

You means that if we have only Agents Licences we can enable CC Elite ?

So we don't need any software installation of CC Elite Software, right ?

No I mean if you have CCelite agents licences already they will follow from CM to CM as you upgrade.

Are your skill`s set up as EAD-MIA?

I have a technical documentation of configuring EAD-MIA....we do this through ASA within CM Software, right ?
