Hi Guys,

We have updated our server edition from 9.1 to 11 and all went well.

We only have issue with our Avaya Communicator 2.1.4.0. When calling external number the other party can't here our voice. The direct media path is already disabled.

And also can't select/press options from IVR.

Is there a new version of Avaya Communicator that we can use for R11?

2.1.4 is the latest. Probably your Topology is wrong configured. Are you local or remote? Do you use encryption or not?

How did you disable direct media? The extension for Avaya Communicator is created at the moment the client registers.

Dear Derfloh,

Local user only. The media path is disabled from the extension settings.

And also, can't it is not connecting to call when selecting options from IVR.

for example, if the other party has IVR, pressing 1 or other options don't work.

I have seen this issue before(the audio part) and it is because you created an extension. IP Office creates that extension on its own and you creating one is causing the issue.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

it is working intermittently.

It was working when the systems is still on R9.1. It start to have issues when we upgraded the SE to R11.

Selecting an option from IVR for example pressing 1 is sometime wont connect. But performing a direct call works.

Did you try removing the extension as suggested?

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
