This would be on a new 10.1 or 11(When released) install.

Is there a way to just use the Communicator for Windows to present slides, your deck top etc.?

We are trying to find a simple and less expensive way for the customer to share video presentations between 2 locations.

I have done some reading on the "web communicator" but this seems like a major pain. I can only find installation documentation on setting this up with server edition. The customer will have an IPO with centralized vm pro at one of the location.

Also, under help on the "user" tab in Manager it says "collaboration" will only work with One-X portal installed on a Linux server.

I know you need a license for "collaboration" as well as a "power user" or "tele-worker" license.

On communicator when I am in in a video call with someone there is an icon for "collaboration". Does this work? I am not able to test.

If it does work other than licensing what do I need.

Thanks

If your not going to it right don't bother doing it at all!

All of your information/ understanding is correct.

Advise to use Equinox Meetings Online if you just want to present.
50 participants per virtual meeting room.

Otherwise get a paid Zang spaces account.
