Avaya CM - ASP130 R6 - KVM Image - Cannot Install Patches

Good day!

This is fairly new to most of us, the new ASP130 R6 that uses RHEL with KVM as the hypervisor, replacing VMware ESXi. I have successfully deployed CM 10.2.0.0 on ASP130 R6. My duplication link is up, pending updates. (CM1 is on ESXi).

Updates are in the /var/home/ftp/pub folder. 1. The patches do not show in the Manage Updates on the SMI. They are there looking via the CLI. 2. When trying udate_unpack, the error states "Command Failed: Invalid file format (file)". None of the other update_show options have a result either.

Tried with suser, dadmin, and root.

What is the full patch name? What do you mean by "CM1 is on esxi"....are you running duplex cm on 2 different hypervisors? If so, are they both 10.2 or is server A an older version than server B?

Hey lopes1211.

The real question is, why I can't install 10.2.0.1.1 or 10.2.1.0 on the CMB. Both state they can be installed on GA 10.2.0.0. I need CM2 to be at the same patch level as CM1 which is 10.2.0.1.1. And, the patches once uploaded via the SMI, don't show up when selecting Manage Updates.
