Avaya Chapter 11 (again)

Looks like the chances of Avaya going into chapter 11 again soon are getting stronger given they have a load of debt maturing next year that they may have problems settling.

I'm hearing rumours that MS have been talking to them for a while about buying the contact centre elements of the business.

What are peoples views or opinions on what will be happening with Avaya?

We're planning to upgrade from r8 to r10 this year and really need to understand the risk?

I've heard those rumours too. The worst part of all this is that the stockholders, in every article I've seen, will get wiped out by any bankruptcy and only the institutional investors will be protected. All while the newly hired CEO receives a sweet 7 figure bonus for half a years work while the stock tanked.
