Avaya Call Assistant over network

Hi All,

Having an issue with the one-x portal call assistant software.

There's a virtual linux app server, with two IP office 500 v2's on it, all software on 9.0.3 with SCN between the two systems, both systems linked into the one-x portal, and all fully accessible within a browser, eg regardless of what site you're on you can browse to the one-x portal and log in with your user.

trouble is they want to have the desktop application for click to dial etc, though with the correct log in details/settings it just comes back with "server communication failure" when trying to log in, though on the site that actually contains the server and one of the IPO's, the app works fine. any ideas?

Most likely a ports issue between the site. The call assistant needs to be able to route traffic to ports 8063 and 8069 on the portal server.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
