Hi all, we are running BCMSVU R2.4.4 and it is finally working well. The only problem is that there are 2 weeks of data missing in the current hist.mdb database.
I have the data in another hist.mdb file that was being used for a 2 weeks while troubleshooting connection problems.
I backed up and moved this hist.mdb file in order to use the one from the old server. But now I need to import that 2 weeks of data into the current hist.mdb.
The R2.4.2 release notes mention a Merge Utility to do this. But all the page says is to "Copy the folder "Merge_Utility" from the support site to your hard disk."
SOLUTION:
I just found it: Go to support.avaya.com and click on Downloads.
In the product field type Basic Call Management System Reporting Desktop (it may pop up, so just select it)
Select BCMRD Release 2 Version 4 Service Pack 2.
Download the zip file to the BCMSVU server and extract it.
A folder named Merge_Utility will be created.
Open that folder and run the merge.exe program.
Select the Old Database (the one to be imported)
Select the New Databse (the current working one)
Click OK
This should merge databases. Start BCMSVU server and check your data.
I hope this is helpful. It took me a day to track this stuff down!
