Avaya BCM450 R6 Password 1

Hello, I haven't used a BCM in a while and just got one in from one of my customers. BUT the password has been changed and they don't remember it. Does Avaya still have to log into it to reset it? And if they do, will I lose the keycodes that are in it? I'm just rusty with this and don't want to mess this up.

There is a password reset tool that can be downloaded from the Avaya Support Site. You need to open a case with Avaya and provide the BCM's system ID. They will email you a file and you will use the password reset tool to upload that file to the BCM. After that your password will be back to factory default. Good Luck
