Hi guys,
I wonder if anyone had same problem as I do.
I have installed B179 SIP conference telephone on IP Office 500 V2 (Software version 9.0)and it is registered and I can receive calls but can not dial extension or outside number.
Thanks in advance.

do you dial then hit the call button or hit the call button first then dial?
for the latter you also need to press the send button.

HI guys,
thank you for reply, I have programmed 3 appearance keys and there is no personal short code for that extension. When I dial I looked in system status on active calls and the call is not there when I dial extension or outside number.
When I call conference telephone call is visible in active calls on system status and phone rings and I can answer and everything is fine.I tried dialing both ways: dial and then press green button and press send and the other way but call does not go through.

I don't have a 179 here but go through the web interface and see if there is a proxy for outcalling setup (not even sure if there is such an option on it), that is the only thing I could think of that would cause the phone to not even try with the IPO

On SIP devices the dial tone is locally generated it isn't from the system so you will not see it go off hook or while you're dialling digits, you only see activity when it's dialling the digits onwards to the system or connected. So if you aren't seeing anything it's purely the B179. I had to update ours to the latest firmware before it would work correctly IIRC :)
