I have an IP trunk(H323) set up between asterisk and Avaya. Everything works fine but we are using the avaya ACD and I would like to be able to make an agent login from a ip hardphone on the asterisk side so that the end user could be part of the call center. I know that I can use the softphone on telecomuter mode but I would like to get rid of that extra software. Can this be done dialing directly from the phone by using fac or is there somewhere instructions on how to write a piece of software to do so as the softphone would do?
this is the missing part of my puzzle, I hope that someone could help me on that.
