I am an avaya person. No knowledge of aspect. We are using an avaya pbx as a disaster recovery option for an aspect switch. The rouing in the aspect can check ASA and play pre-recorded announcment clips of minutes and seconds. Is there any way to do the same thing in avaya.

The only thing I know that is even kind of similar is to do a check on the EWT/OCW and then play a specific announcement.

Any help would be super great!

For the Avaya, an IVR is what will provide the "expected wait time" message based on EWT/OCW information from PBX.
If your not going for an IVR, than record several broad announcements, "your expected is between x and x minutes." "your expected wait time is between y and y minutes" and so on. Then set several 'if ewt is < x goto step x(message x)' ; 'if ewt is < y goto step y(message y)'; etc...
