i am currently installing a Nicelog voice recording system and adding around 5000 extensions into the devices in the AES. Does anyone know how to add them in one go instead of one at a time??

Young fool... Only now, at the end, do you understand...

Unfortunately, there is no bulk admin option as in CT. If you have a CT lying around, you could use bulk admin to export your CT SDB (to get proper format), add all of the devices in Excel, save to CSV, then import into AES. AES has the ability to import CSV for migrations, but not a bulk admin function.

Alternately, if you are willing to spend the time to hack around postresSQL in AES, you could figure out the correct tables and use SQL. You may be able to figure it out from a system backup which backs up everything in SQL which is where all of your config, users, and SDB settings are stored.
